When Hans Fallada was denounced to the SA in 1933 he gave up his house near Berlin after serving a short sentence and bought the estate in Carwitz. There he wrote many novels in which he criticized the social system. In those very rooms, today’s Hans Fallada Museum, the Roaring Twenties are brought back to life. The expressive singer Gisa Flake presents frivolous, cheerful, critical and thoughtful chansons of the twenties in the sound of former times.
